There has been a rise in the number of people diagnosed with HIV reports the UK’s Western Daily Press, with more than half of new cases among gay and bisexual men.
“A total of 6,151 people were newly diagnosed with HIV in the UK during 2014, according to data from Public Health England (PHE).
This is a slight rise on 2013, when there were 6,000 new cases.
The number of men who have sex with men newly diagnosed with HIV rose from 2,860 in 2010 to 3,360 in 2014.”
